Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026
Welcome to Side B
Side B is a web app that lets you create digital mixtapes for people you care about. These Terms of Use explain the rules for using the app. By using Side B, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Who can use Side B
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Accounts
You need an account to create mixtapes. Recipients do not need an account to listen to a tape you send them. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the mixtapes, dedications, and voice notes you create. By using Side B, you give us permission to store and share that content with the people you send it to.
Don’t use Side B to send illegal, harmful, threatening, hateful, or sexually explicit content. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this rule.
Supporter subscriptions
Side B is free to use. Optional Supporter subscriptions are billed through Paddle and unlock premium features. You can cancel anytime through your Paddle account or the Side B settings page. Subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law.
Music and streaming links
Side B searches Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube to help you find songs. We do not host or sell music. Playback is handled by those platforms, and their terms and availability apply.
Termination
You can stop using Side B at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
Disclaimers
Side B is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or perfect for every use case. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We’ll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continuing to use Side B after changes means you accept the new terms.
